Welcome!

No matter what our age I believe we all have an inner wisdom that wants to guide us toward health and vitality. Continued life stress and/or traumatic events can hinder our ability to feel where our heart is guiding us.

Therapy is a journey where we may cover uncharted territory and work together to map out a way forward towards your goals. As your guide I will walk with you as we uncover the path unique to you and along the way learning to deepen the connection between body, heart, and mind. With each session increasing confidence in your ability to break thru any blocks that have kept you from inner peace, joy, and fulfillment.

Most of my experience has been centered around trauma, eating disorders, negative body image, depression, and anxiety. Finding the root cause of the struggle(s) is my overall focus. Much like weeds in a garden, trauma and prolonged stress can take over our mind, body and heart making our world feel limited and small. Ideally we pull the weeds (thoughts that make us feel inadequate, unworthy or less than) so we can see and enjoy the vibrant, healthy and lush foliage that always existed underneath.

The therapies that I offer I have personally benefited from on my path to mental, emotional and physical health, and I continue to use them in a daily practice.

Most days you can find me hiking in the Columbia Gorge with my dog Lola. Growing up around and on boats I spend a lot of time by the water and my dream is to sail around the San Juan Islands. My self care regimen includes TRE, writing, reading (currently reading Atomic Habits by James Clear) cooking, meditation and spending time in my herb garden.

I appreciate your visit! If you have any questions regarding my offerings or my approach please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Kindly,

Maja
